I. Intentional Torts

• Battery: Harmful or offensive contact to plaintiff's person.
• Assault: Intentional creation of reasonable apprehension of imminent harmful/offensive contact.
• False Imprisonment: Intentional confinement of plaintiff within bounded area.
• Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress (IIED): Extreme and outrageous conduct causing severe emotional distress.

II. Negligence

• Duty: Standard of a reasonably prudent person under similar circumstances.
• Breach: Failure to meet the standard of care.
• Causation: Actual cause (But-for) and Proximate cause (Foreseeability).
• Damages: Actual harm required.

III. Strict Liability

• Abnormally Dangerous Activities: Liable regardless of care taken. Includes blasting, toxic chem
